The day that our Jesus Christ came into the world was the most important day in our life. Not only was Jesus born into this life to teach us how to serve God and to obey Him, but Jesus was also an example to us by his obedience to the Father. He demonstrated this on the cross when He shed His blood to cleanse us of our sins.
John 3:16 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
I like to celebrate Christ but people deny His birth. They do not want to admit that there is a God. But if you read Isaiah 9:6, it informs you of His birth!
Isaiah 9:6-10 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
When we accept our Father God and His son Jesus who gave His life for us, the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to the truth that our God is real. But, we don’t celebrate His birth with presents and giving God different names because that is what our enemy wants us to do to erase the name of Jesus.
Jeremiah 10 (KJV)
10 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
