Jesus our Lord wants us, the church, to visit people in their houses and those that are in the streets to hear the Word of Jesus Christ while they have the opportunity to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior before it is too late. We do not know the time we have on this earth!
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus is calling us to receive Him. Jesus loves us, and He wants to cleanse us from our sins and to give us eternal life. God Bless You!
Living in confidence with Jesus and trusting Him
If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we believe that He died for us and accept that everything that He said is true, we also have the confidence that when we die, we will go with Him to paradise. We are to be obedient to Him and believe that He died for us and will cleanse our sins away with His blood when He died on the cross at Calvary.
We cannot deceive others and ourselves. We say that we love our Christ and that we love Him, but when others need our help all we say is ‘we will pray for you.’ Or if we see someone homeless and asking for help, we give an excuse and walk away from them. We are afraid to let them in our houses afraid they will steal something and always look for an excuse not to help them. We may even move away because they probably smell when they call out to us. He or she may die of hunger or malnutrition. The pastor felt so sad and hurt and He asked the church to do something to be helpful to those that are in need but no one came to help.
Ask yourself: what would Jesus do? The only way to get this answer is to read your Bible.
