I want to write, not with wisdom from me, but allow God to teach us that only through God can we understand the word of God.
Isaiah 28:9
“Whom shall teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source to open our mind through the Holy Spirit and helps us understand the significance to obey Jesus’ word and see the loved the Lord has shown us. We do not deserve it, but our Lord wants us to know that He has chosen us and will do the payment for us.
John 3:17
“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
God wants us to be clean from the evil of this world. God from the beginning knew that only through the shedding of the blood could this be done. He also knew that it had to be blood without sin. His Son volunteered to be the sacrifice for us.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:18 lets you know that if you believe on Him, you are not condemned. But if you do not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God, you are already condemned.
Jesus Christ completed the ultimate sacrifice and carried all our sins on him and was nailed on the cross where He shed the blood and interceded for us crying “Father forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” That was Christ showing His love for us through His grace.
As long as they were faithful and did what God commanded everything was fine, but the time came that they wanted to do like everyone else, and follow idolatry and all kind of corruption. God chastised them.
Revelation 3:19
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.”
God did not want anyone to be lost but wanted them to ask for forgiveness and acknowledge Him as our only redeemer and savior.
Acts 5:30-31
“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom we slew and hanged on a tree, Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a prince and savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.”
All you have to do is repent and ask Jesus to come into your life, and only through Jesus Christ will you find repentance and forgiveness with God, by grace.
When you are forgiven by God’s grace, you will begin to learn how to listen and obey His word because God wants you to learn to trust all that He commands from you, in prayer.
I Peter 4:7
“But the end of all things are at hand. Be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
We have to set the example of our Lord and Saviour.
I Peter 4:1
“For as much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.”
And our Lord Jesus Christ will bless you, and reward you with His wisdom and knowledge.
