I would like you to hear how I came to accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. I came from a Christion church and believed in Christ, but I did not know Him. My mother was sick and before I was 15 years of age, she died and I knew that she went with Christ because she mad a new commitment with God. My family and saints in the church testified of this also. I just couldn’t understand why a God so good could love me.
Without Him, I was angry and stopped going to church. I visited a Roman Catholic church with my friend and did all the rosaries thinking that it would take me to heaven. I went to confession every Saturday and really thought by lying in confession and just confessing small sins, the priest would absolve me of my sins – but that was wrong.
My mother-in-law took me back to church and I came to Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. My life changed. I found peace in my heart and true happiness. I found out that through Him, I could have eternal life.
I wanted to tell you all about Jesus Christ and why I am so grateful. I want all of you to know Him.
I Peter 5:10-11
“But the God of all grace, who hath called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus after ye have suffered a while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
I also wanted to tell you that I was happily married for fifty-three years when my Lord Jesus took my husband home. All I can say is that I love him and still do.
